A well-tuned piano isn't just more pleasant to play, it protects your instrument. Strings under proper tension last longer, and regular tuning prevents the pitch from drifting, making future tunings more difficult and expensive. Whether you play daily or occasionally, every piano benefits from professional attention at least once a year.
At Miles, Sturch, and Westbrook Pianos, our tuning team includes Registered Piano Technicians (RPTs) and trained technicians who bring the same standard of care to every appointment. We serve Houston, the greater Houston area, and East Texas.
What to expect
Tunings are performed in your home or venue at a time that works for you. A standard tuning takes 60–90 minutes. If your piano hasn't been tuned in several years, it may require a pitch raise before fine tuning. We will let you know at the appointment if that's the case.
Standard Tuning: $195
Pitch Raise: $75
Any technical work my have additional costs.
