In this five day course, we will cover all aspects of creating, shaping, and fitting a brand new pinblock. HIghlights of this course include:
Recording the position of plate
Recording the height of the plate
Removing the plate
Creating a template of the tuning pin holes
Removing the pinblock
Tracing out a new pinblock
Cutting the pinblock
Fitting the new pinblock
Drilling the new pinblock
Planing the pinblock
Gluing and doweling the pinblock
Location:
Workshop instruction will take place at our rebuilding facility just outside of Houston in Kemah, Texas
Transportation
Students are responsible for their transportation to and from the workshop.
